Stoke Bruerne

Posted by Claudia (Milton Keynes, United Kingdom) on 6 November 2009 in Landscape & Rural.

Stoke Bruerne is a canal village in Northamptonshire on the Grand Union Canal. It's situated four miles east of Towcester (pronounced toaster!). This picture was taken on a September day as cold as any November day, so I guess it's adequate for today.

oh lovely, Typical, Typical (John Cleese in Fawlty Towers). We have a canal town in kerala, backwaters actually, called Alleppy, but not as clean as Stoke Bruerne, never heard of it. Oh, there's a canal shop.

I'm in love with all the bricks.

It's very warm here today. I'm in love with that too.
